ANDY MANGELS HOLLYWOOD HEROES

This was slated to be a regular magazine from the same crew that produced Fantazia, with one major exception. Andy Mangels was going to be the editor (working under Editorial Director Sheldon Bayley).

An 128-page "Sample Issue" was printed, featuring a cover mock-up, and reprints of four pages from Fantazia #10's columns. This was sent to distributors and buyers and advertisers, to see if there was interest in a magazine of this sort. Unfortunately, Fantazia was already experiencing publishing troubles, and Andy Mangels Hollywood Heroes never saw actual production.

The first issue was scheduled to include:
• an interview with John Wesley Shipp and a Flash episode guide
• an interview with Lou Ferrigno and an Incredible Hulk episode guide
• a history of Tales From the Crypt and an episode guide
• a history of Spider-Man and a live-action episode guide
• an interview with Lyle Waggonner and a Wonder Woman episode guide
