Los Angeles, CA – It began with the “Best Of” Collection…..then came the first 33 episodes of Season One. Now, BCI Eclipse, a Navarre Corporation Company, and UK media company and underlying rights owner, Entertainment Rights Plc (“ER”) who licensed the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe rights to BCI, are ready to excite fans even more with another 32 episodes of “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,” Season One, Volume Two. The six-disc collection includes two brand new documentary features, and will be available on February 14th at a suggested retail price of $49.98. The new collection comes on the heels of BCI Eclipse’s “He-Man” collection winning the 2005 TV DVD Award for Best 1980’s Series.

“He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,” Season One, Volume Two, is the second release in a four volume set that will include all 130 original episodes of the popular animated saga. All four volumes put together will feature a unique He-Man “spine art mural.”

The six DVDs will include episodes 34-65 from the first season, and also feature:

--“The Stories of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,” Season One, Part Two, featuring interviews with producers, writers, directors and experts

“He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,” Season One, Volume Two, follows the tremendous success of the initial “Best-Of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” Ten Episode Collector’s Edition, which debuted at #17 on the weekly (week ending 7/17) Video Scan DVD charts; as well as Season One, Volume One, debuting at #32 (week ending 10/23).

Consulting with BCI on the project and providing extra content is Val Staples, the owner of www.he-man.org, the internet’s largest portal for the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe fan community, the owner of MVCreations graphic design company, and the publisher of the recent Masters of the Universe comic. Producing the special features, documentaries and most of the extra content is entertainment writer Andy Mangels, www.andymangels.com, a best-selling novelist, and author of Animation on DVD—The Ultimate Guide.

“He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” is a landmark in children’s television history, being the first nationally syndicated television program based on a successful toy line. Originally produced from 1983-1985 by world renowned Filmation Studios and syndicated until 1990, the show has experienced consistent popularity over the years.
