Story title: "Nobody Knows the Tribbles I've Seen"
Plot:
At Quark's bar, Odo, Dax, O'Brien, Bashir, and Morn tell tales about why Klingons really hate Tribbles so much. The resulting stories — each of them true — are wildly implausible. . . or are they? Were the pet Tribbles the cause of war between the Klingons and the Romulans? Did an allergy to Tribbles cause the Klingon head ridges? Or was it the adventuring of Enjana Dax that caused the Klingons to hate Tribbles?
Notes: This story was the sequel to the TV show "Trials and Tribble-Ations. Told Rashomon-style, it features flashbacks to that story as well as the Original Series story "The Trouble with Tribbles" The Enjana Dax segment is a parody of Indiana Jones, with a stoogelike Klingon trio named Kho, L'Ray, and Xhemp. This was also the "fill-in" story that got Mangels and Martin hired as regular writers for the DS9 series. This issue has a gatefold "Characters/Previously" interior front cover.

Now, aboard DS9, Garak the "humble tailor" has been seeing the woman through the crowds on the Promenade. Is he hallucinating, or has a ghost from his past returned. . . to kill him?
Solicitation Copy: DS9's resident tailor would like to forget the deeds he committed as a member of the Obsidian Order. However, despite his best intentions, a horrible event comes back to haunt him!
